Daytona State College’s Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) can be used to reset forgotten DSC account passwords and unlock locked accounts and is required for the Microsoft multi-factor authentication (MFA) when logging in to college services. SSPR is fully integrated into Microsoft Office 365 and provides additional functionality such as verifying your identity by the following methods:

  • Microsoft Authenticator smartphone app (recommended)
  • Text message
  • Phone call
  • Alternate (non-DSC) email address

To enroll you must know your current DSC account password. Enrollment is a one-time event; however, your authentication methods can be updated later if so desired.

The document and video playlist shown below demonstrates how to enroll in Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR). You may choose a specific video by using the video picker icon in the upper right corner of the playlist,  Choose a specific video from the playlist

NOTE: Students are required to change their password every 180 days. Employees are required to change their password every 90 days. Microsoft multi-factor authentication (MFA) is enabled and required for all college accounts and requires enrollment in SSPR. Please see the MFA FAQ for more information.
