What information loads into the Schedule Sync (Class Schedule Option 1)?

Currently, instrutors who utilize the first class schedule option in Simple will find the below content sections "sync" (automatically load) to their syllabi from Falcon Online only:

  • Assignments
  • Discussions
  • Quizzes
  • Checklist Items

From these areas, Simple automatically grabs information from the following fields:

  • Names
  • Due Dates
    • Assignment Due Dates
    • Discussion End Dates
    • Calendar/Event End Dates
    • Quiz Due Dates
    • Survey Due Dates
  • Point Values (if applicable)

As a note, Simple has a sync limit of 100 items. If you have over 100 assignment, discussion, quiz, and checklist items, only the first 100 sync. The rest would require manual input.

Information from external learning tools (such as McGraw-Hill LTI deep links) are only added to the Falcon Online calendar, which does not load into Simple's schedule sync to avoid duplicating data found in other areas like "Discussions" or "Quizzes." To ensure items from external learning tools (like McGraw-Hill) are included in Simple's sync, they must be imported into or manually created within other Falcon Online areas, such as Quizzes or Discussions. Once they are available in those sections, our system will be able to receive and sync them.
