Can I have examples of SB7044 compliant schedules?
Answer
For Summer and Fall 2026 syllabi onwards, all syllabi must have the following components:
- Assignment Names
- 1-2 Sentence Description of the Assignment
- Associated Readings
- Do the students need to complete the readings to pass the assignment?
- If yes, include them as "Associated Readings"
- Do the students need to complete the readings to pass the assignment?
Instructors may format their schedules in different ways. Ultimately, the content is what matters more than the format. Below are three examples of SB7044 compliant syllabi.
- Falcon Online Schedule Sync Class Schedule
- If you are utilizing the schedule sync feature in Simple Syllabus, make sure to manually type in your assignment descriptions and associated readings in their corresponding columns. Do not make manual edits outside of these columns (you can reorganize listed items by dragging and dropping though).

- Manual Table Class Schedule
- You may create your own table using the editor in Simple Syllabus. If you need assistance with creating a table, please refer to this Scribe document.

- Manual Bullet Point List Class Schedule
- If you would prefer to have your schedule formatted as a list, you may create a bullet point list for your class schedule.
