Yes, withdrawing can negatively impact your future eligibility. Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) by meeting these components throughout their academic career:
- Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA
- Successfully complete 67% of the course work attempted
- Be within 150% of the maximum timeframe to complete the degree
If you do not meet one, or more, of the above-mentioned criteria you will be able to appeal your SAP status. Circumstances related to an outbreak of COVID-19 may form the basis of your appeal, however you will need to be able to document it.
