    Will withdrawing from my Spring courses negatively impact my eligibility to receive financial aid in future terms?

Yes, withdrawing can negatively impact your future eligibility. Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) by meeting these components throughout their academic career:

  • Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA
  • Successfully complete 67% of the course work attempted
  • Be within 150% of the maximum timeframe to complete the degree

If you do not meet one, or more, of the above-mentioned criteria you will be able to appeal your SAP status. Circumstances related to an outbreak of COVID-19 may form the basis of your appeal, however you will need to be able to document it.
