Although you may not be eligible for a federal Pell grant, you could qualify for other federal, state, and institutional aid including Direct Subsidized and/or Unsubsidized Loans. Direct Loans are low interest federal loans, however subsidized loans are for students with financial need and will not accrue interest until six months after a student graduates or drops below half time. Unsubsidized Loans are for students who do not have financial need and accrue interest when the funds are disbursed to the school. In addition, Parent PLUS loans and Private loans are credit based loans and available to qualified parents and students.
